    Hello.

I noticed that when my gps antenna is rotating rapidly the elevation shown on the display is changing

this happens also when only the antenna is moving.

I would like to have an explanation of why this is happening, how does the gps calculate elevation, and also how can I receive a gps satellite signal from a single satellite and display it on my scope or computer with 100 ns accuracy.

    thanks.

A GPS takes in pseudo range data from 4 or more satellites and does a calculation on the data, the result is X, Y, Z and clock, X and Y equate to latitude and longitude and Z is altitude, in the video the GPS on the edge of the fan is effectively travelling forward and backwards very quickly, this disturbs the pseudo range measurements

Thanks so much for your explanation.

Anyone knows how to show GPS timestamp on a scope or computer with a 100 nanosecond Accuracy?
