260w

I have an older Garmin 260W. Up to this point I just programed an address and GO. However I recently found you can make "CUSTOM Routes" with mapquest. I have done a custom route from Va to Arkansas I've called sis house.gpx. I have be able to get this file uploaded to my 260W. I have two questions about it. #1 Sis House does not appear anywhere on my favorites(I know its on my 260w by using windows file manager.) Does and older 260w not have the capability to read custom .gpx files. #2 IF the 260w can read them where on my Garmin should I place the file. Thank you for any help you can give me
