I have a Montana 600 I'm using with the AMPS rugged mount with power/audio cable on my snowmobile. The inline fuse box broke off the power cable. Can I connect the power cable directly to the battery without the 2 amp inline fuse and be OK ?

It would be better to re-attach or replace the in-line fuse, fuses are obviously there for safety, you could remove the fuse and be completely OK, on the other hand something could short out the gold connectors on the mount and the whole wiring loom could catch fire
