    Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I'm trying to find the geocoordinates from information found on a US land survey. The spot I'm looking at is shown as 74-38-02 N (GPS) and Northing: 458071.01 Easting: 1177273.28. Thanks.

    I think there are some digits missing, The GPS data is probably 74 degrees 38 minutes and 2 seconds North*, but there should be a set like XX-XX-XX E for degress, minutes and seconds East (or West), I'm guessing that this is a single reference point from which you add an extra 458 Kilometers to the North and 1177 Kilometers East

    * I think the 74 38 02 is more likely to be West than North, eg:- 40 19 25 North 74 38 02 West is Princeton
