Garmin Tread: powers off on rough roads

Mounted in My side x side with constant accessory power with Garmin mount.
Loses tracks and loses saving tracks or data, then runs battery down to non operating state. Tread has a poor mounting connection compared to my Montana 600 which is rock solid. The Tread is marketed for off road use
Anyone with same problem and solutions?

I think the Tread is faulty, have you tried to get a replacement?, it looks like the Tread can last up to 6 hours once charged so if you charge it at home before a trip you may find that it isn't getting power from the SxS mount at all
