    Hello,
my DriveAssist 50LMT's micro SD card is suddenly no more recognized.
I got a red X sign on the camera symbol and when I touch the symbol it says INSERT A CARD !
I pull it out and checked in laptop and all files are readable.
I pushed 2 other different cards in the Garmin unit, and same, not recognized.
There is anybody who had this before ?
    Thank you

If the 50LMT is not 'seeing' the original or replacement microSD cards I would say it's card reader is not working, you could try a few insert / remove cycles to see if that cleans the contacts used to read the microSD or maybe a factory reset, although I'm doubtful it will fix this

Yes, I thought so... I did many inserts, but nothing changed.
I did a big map update few days before happening.... I am wondering if is not because of that...
    What do you think ?

I can't see why successfully loading a map onto the microSD would stop the 50LMT from seeing any future microSD cards, maybe try the factory reset ?, if you do don't forget to backup all your data first

Well... some guys said that some updates harm the functionality...
Anyways, the backups are done automatically by Garmin Express, when I do an update.
I will try to do a hard reset now... and I will let you know.
    Thank you

It doesnt exist hard reset of simple reset... its only one reset, which actually do nothing. After that you have to choose again the country, language and position of camera on dashboard. It not even delete your Saved Places !
So, I did it 3 times and nothing.
Finally I called Garmin support and they said, after 20 minutes of talking... " - The unit is damaged and you have to buy a new one, because is an old model and we dont fix it ! "
