I have been generating OSM maps for years. Just last week My OSM maps (mkgmap) have been blank. Yes, they all have different PID and FID. Sent the same OSM map to buddy andit displayed on his Montana600. Updated firmware from 7.30 to 7.60 (latest) and still blank. JaVaWa does not find duplicate tiles. City Navigator file and another file VVMapping.com display, just OSM is blank. Memory cards not full. Move file from Ext mem to INT mem. I think a FILE within the Montana got corrupted, Can I wipe GPS and get all the standard Montana 600 files downloaded from Garmin?

Are you using Garmin Basecamp to download the OSM file to your Montana?, some older versions of Basecamp contained a version of Map Install that would not install third part Maps like OSM MAPS to your GPS properly, see the link here :-

I would not 'wipe' your Montana as it is very unlikely that you will be able to re-install the operation system without returning the unit to Garmin and I can't see how a missing system file would prevent the display of OSM maps but display others, you could try disabling all maps on the Montana and then enabling just OSM or just CN maps as sometimes multiple maps don't interact with each other as they should

I just copy the .img files directly into INT memory /garmin or EXT memory /garmin. This has worked for years and them "blank" I have tried removing all maps from EXT and INT memory. Move the same map back and forth. Tried older maps. Done factory resets many times. My friend can see the map on his Montana so I thought corrupt system file
