My Nuvi 1690, which is integrated into the dash of my Suzuki SX4, stopped working. The screen is black. I pugged it into my computer using the mini-USB port, and it works fine. So the problem is with the 10-pin linear connector port (either in the car or in the GPS). What are the pinouts to the car connector on the NUVI 1690. Note that that is [I]not [/I]the Mini-USB port, but rather a linear connector along the bottom edge of the GPS. It might be that all NUVI 1690s have that connecter, but with a plastic plug covering it up. I do not know whether that is the case or not. Has anyone else encountered this particular problem?
