Since these GPS units have such outdated info, and it tries to take you over roads that have been gone for 10 years, is there a way to program in, waypoint after waypoint so that it will take you to one and then automatically take you to the next, and then the next, and then.....?

If your Nuvi 67 is the 'L' or 'LM' model you will be able to download up to date maps for it and the problem will go away. If you can't get current Garmin maps you can install Open Street Maps free of charge, see (link HERE).

The problem you will have with downloading waypoints is how your Nuvi gets from one to the next, usually when waypoints are grouped, a 'Route' is generated, GPS's form a route by following a road, track or path that is on the installed map, if you can download a 'Track' rather than a 'Route' or get the Nuvi to group the waypoints into 'Track' then it will follow a straight line between waypoints
