    Hi all,

New to this site, not sure if this is where i should be!!
I wish to send weather ballon up to aprox 100,000ft and would like to track it using gps so that the payload wich will contain hd cameras can be recovered when it lands back on earth. Can anyone recommend a suitable device. I have been looking at radiosondes which as far as i'm aware contain a gps tracker and temperature and alltitude measuring devices. The idea of a radiosonde kills a few birds with one stone but how do i track it (ham radio enthusiast??)

it's aero exploration , you need a gps module ,a datalogger ,a datalink by which you can send your location by GSM or CDMA .
