I have a Garmin nuvi 2595 with 2.0gb free of 7.0 internal storage, and get a message when updating not enough space. Options are remove regions or use sd card. I would rather replace old maps internally and install new ones. Is that possible? Thank you.

If you connect the Nuvi 2595 to a computer running Garmin Basecamp, it should be possible to copy the current maps to the computer (viewable on the computer when the Nuvi is not attached), the old maps on the Nuvi can then be removed and replaced with new ones which can also be installed on the computer running Basecamp
